Prior to the party cut out enough cat shape mask for each guest using white paper plates. Designate a work station and cover the tables with a plastic table cover for easy clean up. Set out crayons, markers, and jewels for your guests to decorate their masks with. Glue a wooden stick to the bottom of each mask.
Balloon Pop Relay Race
- 2 parent helpers
Get the party started with a fun relay race! Split your guests into two groups on one end of the yard. On the other end of the yard have your two parent helpers waiting with enough balloons for each player. When you say “GO” the first two players from each team runs to the parent helper across from them, gets a balloon and tries to pop it by sitting on it. Once they have popped the balloon they run back to the next player in line and tag them. This goes on until each player has raced. The team to get all their players through the relay the fastest wins a small prize.
Pin the Bow on Hello Kitty
- white poster board
- black marker
- pink construction paper
Using the white poster board and black marker draw and cut out a Hello Kitty face. Tape the poster board to a wall. Using pink construction paper draw and cut out enough bows for all the players. Write the name of each player on the back of their bow and place a piece of tape on the back. Blindfold the player and spin three times. The player to get the bow closest to the correct spot wins a small prize.
Hello Kitty Photo Booth
- white butcher paper

Hang the butcher paper and decorate a Hello Kitty theme using balloons, markers, and paint. Have each guest take a picture with their creative kitty masks for even more fun in the photo. Hello Kitty Cake
Estimated Total Time: 1 hour - 1hour and 30 minutes
- 2 boxes of your choice cake mix
- 2 containers of vanilla frosting
- one container of pink decorating frosting in a can (should include different decorating tips)
Bake two cakes as directed on the box in a round nonstick cake pan. Cool completely and remove from pan. Frost the top of the first layer. Place the second layer on top and frost the entire cake. Using the can of pink decorating frosting and your choice tip decorate the outer edge of the top and bottom of the cake. Place the Hello Kitty cake topper in the center and the 8 rings around the sides of the cake.
Hello Kitty Sugar Cookies

- premade sugar cookie dough
- vanilla frosting
- red food coloring
- chocolate chips
- thin black licorice
- round yellow candy (small)
- hello Kitty cookie cutter
- non-stick baking sheet
- icing bag with single icing tip
Roll and cut dough with Hello Kitty cookie cutter. Place on a non stick baking sheet and bake as directed on package. Cool completely on a wire rack. Frost entire top of cookies with vanilla frosting. Add red food coloring to remaining amount of frosting and mix. Empty frosting into an icing bag. Pipe a bow at the top on one side of the cookie. Cut the black licorice into small strips and place on each side of cookie as the whiskers. Place 2 chocolate chips for the eyes. Place the small round yellow candy in the center as the nose
PB & J Hello Kitty Sandwiches

Spread peanut butter and jelly on one slice of bread. Close sandwich by placing dry slice of bread on top. Cut each sandwich using the Hello Kitty cookie cutter. Place sandwiches either on a serving dish or serve individually.
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Estimated Total Time: 30 minutes
- 1 package of large strawberries
- 1 package of melting chocolate pieces
- wax paper
- cookie sheet or serving tray
Melt chocolate as directed on the package. Wash and dry strawberries. Dip each strawberry in the melted chocolate. Place on a serving dish lined with wax paper. Refrigerate until chocolate hardens and serve.
