- Canvas purses or small tote bags
- Fabric markers

Directions:
Prior to your party purchase enough canvas bags for each guest. Designate an area as the work station. Place all supplies along the table or have an equal amount at each setting. Assist each child with decorating a cool take home bag.
All Doll’d up like Barbie Makeover
Supplies:
- Glitter nail polish
- Light colored “play” makeup
- Mirror
Directions:
Get all your little guests in the in the spirit by getting all doll’d up for the party! Designate an area for the makeovers. Have a parent helper assist you with doing the makeovers on each child or assist them with doing their own makeover.
Shine like Barbie Photo Booth
Supplies:
- White butcher paper
- Markers, paint
- Barbie poster
- Fashion accessories (pink boa, sunglasses, and costume jewelry)
- Glue
- Digital camera
Directions:
Designate an open space as your back drop. Draw, color, and paint lipstick, purses, shoes, and jewels throughout the butcher paper. Glue the Barbie poster either in the center or off to the side. Have fashion accessories in a container for your guests to wear in the photos.
Pin the Sunglasses on Barbie
Supplies:
- Barbie Poster
- Construction paper sunglass cutouts
- Tape
- Blindfold
Directions:
Tape the Barbie poster to a wall or door. Cut out paper sunglasses and write the name of each guest on the back. Place a piece of tape on the back of the paper sunglasses. Blindfold the player and spin three times and guide them toward the poster. The player to get Barbie’s sunglasses closest to the correct spot wins a small prize.
Recipes
Barbie Pink Cupcakes
Estimated Total Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
- Cake mix of your choice
- Strawberry Frosting
- Pink sugar crystals
Supplies:
- Non-stick cupcake pan
- Icing bag with star icing tip
Directions:
Bake as directed in a nonstick cupcake pan. Allow cupcakes to cool completely. Empty strawberry frosting into icing bag. Pipe swirls working from outer edge in. Sprinkle pink sugar crystals for added decoration.
Heart Sugar Cookies
Total Time: 27 minutes
Ingredients:
- Premade cookie dough
- 1-Container Strawberry frosting
- 1-Container Chocolate Frosting

Directions:
Roll out premade cookie dough as directed on package. Cut dough using heart shape cookie cutter and place on a nonstick baking sheet. Bake as directed on package, then cool on a wire rack. Frost half of the batch with strawberry frosting and the other half with the chocolate frosting.
Fruit Platter
Estimated Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- Brightly colored fruit
- Dark green lettuce for garnishing
Supplies:
- A large flat round serving platter
Directions:
Wash and cut fruit, if using strawberries and grapes leave these fruits whole. Place the dark lettuce around the edge of the platter. Begin to arrange the fruit in a circular pattern working from the outer edge of the platter in.
Pizza Bagels
Estimated Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- A package of your favorite bagels, mini bagels can be used to make appetizers
- A jar of your choice tomato sauce
- A package of mozzarella cheese
- Any other topping of your choice
Supplies:
Directions:
Cut the bagels in half and place on a baking sheet. Spread sauce and sprinkle cheese on each half. Place other favorite toppings. Cook in the broiler for about 5 min or until cheese melts. Let cool for 2 min and place on a serving platter.
