the wig was great, but the other parts werent really up to my expectations, it was a felt material. also, i used the size chart to get her size and it was a little too small.

I thought this costume was adorable. Got alot of compliments while trick or treating. My daughter looked exactly like Velma.

The top tore at the seam right away, but otherwise it is fun and simple. The wig is great. Wish the socks and glasses came with it.

Title: poor quality costume

The costume is very poorly made. The skirt ripped almost immediately after my daughter put it on. The hole for the head is not large enough. I bought the costume in a size large and my daughter is only 5. I cut the neck to get the shirt on my daughter. I have since purchased a different skirt and orange shirt. My daughter will only use the accessories that came with this costume.

I was very disappointed in the costume. The wig was awful and the quality of the shirt and skirt was very poor. The material is very itchy. My daughter, who is 6 and can still fit in some of her 4's, was almost too big for the 4-6 size. My daughter is very petite and that should not have happened.

This costume is cheap and disappointing. It fits poorly, and is the most poorly made costume we have ever purchased. I am going to try costume express again, as we have had luck before, but this manufacturer is a wast of time!

Title: cheap material

my daughter loves this costume because it is Velma but the fabric is very cheap.. The wig and glasses are great but i could not get the turtle neck over her head. I have had to purchase a real one just so that she can use the costume. If you can find the wig and glasses i would recommend that and just buy a red skirt sand orange shirt.

The skirt of the 6-8 size fits my daughter okay, along with the wig and glasses, however we couldn't fit the turtleneck top over her head at all. The opening is just way too small. We will have to cut the back part of the neck to make it fit her, and she is very upset about it. Other than that the outfit is okay. She does love the glasses.

We recieved our order quickly, the wig and glasses were great. However, the top head opening was so small my daughters head would not fit through it. Luckily my mother is crafty and was able to open the seam and put hook and eyes on it so she can wear the costume. My daughter's head is probably average size so I was surprised it would not fit and there is no "give" in the fabric. Consider sizing up if you are on the fence.

Ordered the Velma costume for my 5 yr. old daughter who is very petite. When trying on the top (basically made of felt) she couldnt get it over her head and made her nose bleed. I am very unsatisfied with the quality of this costume and would not recommend it for purchase.

My daughter was anciuosly waiting on the arrival of the Vilma costume and when it arrived she was sadly disappointed. The costume is very cheaply made the material is so thin and cheap. Honestly you can probablly make this costume. The wig is very very small.

Title: Not nearly as nice as pictured.

I know this is a fairly inexpensive kids costume but there are a lot of flaws. I am giving it two stars over one only because it is usable. 1. Seriously, how much more would it cost the company to hem the sleeves, hem of skirt, and hem of shirt? Just raw edges. 2. The wig is horrible. The bangs are thin and uneven. the right side of the wig is about 2 to 3 inches longer than the left. 3. The glasses are not clear as pictured. They are sunglasses. Although not too darkly tinted I hope they will not cause an issue with vision when trick or treating at night. I would rather pay $5 or even $10 more for a better wig and finished edges.

The overall costume is poor quality. The outfit is made very cheap. We purchased the Dalphine costume last year and it was real fabric. Felt is thicker material than this costume. The wig is out of shape and there were long pieces of hair and the top of the wig had to be put together with bobby pins. It would have been better to just buy a hunting shirt, red skirt and color my daughters hair, then to spend the money on this. Very dissatisified.
