Good size, nice look, had the cake follow the pattern, filled it with a lot of goodies (no candy, which was a big hit with kids and PARENTS), but the only thing that went wrong was that the string snapped without busting the piñata although I think one older kid pulled the string too fast, therefore I would say for kids 5 and under, then get the bat out.

Title: Cute pinata

The pinata was very large in size, to hold junk candy or even fruit snacks and healthier treats, which I prefer to use. Whether using the pull string for younger kids or hitting it with a stick, this was a hit with the kids. Prices are higher than buying at local party supply stores, but they offer far more selection, and very high quality products, sturdy and colorful.

I did not want others to get the wrong idea about this product from the other review. Note this is a pull string pinata. It is not made as strong as other pinatas because it is made to have each kid take turns pulling a string to see if they get the right one that makes the goodies fall out. So if you hit it with a stick of course it is going to break easily because it is not made for hitting. So the product is not horrible the previous reviewer just used it wrong.

The pinata broke after the second hit to it and it doesn't hold a lot of candy before the top loop breaks off.
