How to Decorate withTulle & Balloons
Decorating with balloons will give you the most bang for your buck! To create your very own “balloon big top” (balloon and tulle ceiling decoration), you’ll only need a few supplies: latex balloons (available in all of your favorite colors), tulle and curling ribbon. Blow up your balloons (Pro-planner tip: If you’re doing this job alone, you might wish to consider purchasing a balloon pump) and attach long pieces of curling ribbon to the ends. Cut the pieces of tulle at least one and a half times the length of the party area, and attach them to the ceiling in a crisscross pattern (there should be some slack in the tulle, creating a draping effect). “Pin” the balloon bouquet to the ceiling, creating a center “peak” in the draping tulle. Pull the curling ribbon through the spaces in between the balloons and curl the strands for extra flair. When you want a beautiful decoration that you can customize to match your party theme, look no further than this impressive design!
- WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD – Children under 8 yrs. can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision required. Keep uninflated balloons from children. Discard broken balloons at once.
