Title: Cute, but poorly made

I ordered the banana costume for my daughter who turned 4 three days before Halloween. She is on the smaller side and this fit her perfectly. It may be a little small for a 6 year old. We got lots of compliments on the look of it, but I was really disappointed in the quality. The stitching on teh edges started conmming apart before she even put it on! It also got a couple of runs in the fabric in the first hour she wore it. The care instructions say "DO NOT WASH", which is kind of ridiculous for a 4 year old's costume. I had to spot clean it after our first outing, and it turned out fine. I want to save it for a few years for my son who is 1, so I am afraid to let my daughter use it for dressup play for fear that it will fall apart.
