This whip will be perfect for my husband to hang from his belt for his costume. If he were going to try to put on some kind of show by using it I don't think it would be good. It is fine for the price and our use. If you intend to try to impress people with your whip using skills then buy a real whip.

Our grandsons are both Idiana Jones fans . Our youngest would use anything he could that would represent Jones whip. The leather Indy Jones thrilled them . The product is well made and reasonably priced.We were pleased to be able to locate and buy it.

Ahh....this was the fun part of the costume. Inexpensive, but of good quality and it helped pull the costume and the character together. I would recommend this product. However, unless your child is under 5, the adult whip is only a few inches longer and it could be played with longer etc.
